SEATTLE, Wash. — The Museum of Pop Culture is celebrating 10-years of Minecraft.
The wildly popular mining and crafting game, which has sold more than 175-million copies, has an exhibit at MoPOP featuring highlights from the game with full-sized creatures and opportunities to be inspired by other players.
Seattle Refined reports Minecraft is used as an educational tool and to encourage creativity.
Its simplistic blocky design and complete freedom allows players to build anything from towns and castles to spaceships and highrises.
Minecraft: The Exhibition is on display at MoPOP until September 7, 2020.
