BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham woman pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter for the death of her baby.
26-year-old Brittany Shane Daniels was accused of neglecting her 3-month-old infant, Lucian, until he starved to death in 2015.
According to court documents, the 26-year-old pleaded guilty Wednesday and her sentencing is set for January 14.
Lucian’s father is also charged with second-degree manslaughter.
He pleaded not guilty in February of 2016 and his trial is scheduled for January 17.
