Bellingham school superintendent named Superintendent of the Year

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Public School’s superintendent was honored as the state’s 2020 Superintendent of the Year.

The Washington Association of School Administrators named Dr. Greg Baker the state’s top superintendent on Saturday.

The award is designed to recognize outstanding leadership and pay tribute to those who lead Washington’s public schools.

As the state’s Superintendent of the Year, Dr. Baker will be a candidate for the 2020 American Association of School Administrators’ National Superintendent of the Year to be awarded in February.
