BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham woman has been arrested for allegedly murdering her boyfriend’s 3-year-old daughter.
Kamee Dixon was the sole caretaker of Hazel Homan the morning of November 27, according to Bellingham Police.
She reportedly called 9-1-1 and said Hazel was having a medical emergency, possibly due to choking on something, but doctors at Harborview in Seattle told investigators that Hazel suffered injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome and physical abuse.
They said her death was a direct result of this assault.
Dixon was arrested Thursday, December 5, in the 4100 block of Cordata Parkway.
