BURLINGTON, Wash. — Burlington police are looking for a 19-year-old Sedro-Woolley man after a fatal shooting at a gas station Friday.
KIRO reports Christian Flores is accused of shooting Swinomish Tribal member Dougie Gunter just before 11:30 AM.
It’s believed Flores mistook Gunter for a rival gang member because he was wearing red and shot him five times when Gunter pulled up to the gas station.
Gunter, who has no gang ties, died at the scene.
Two nearby schools were put on lockdown for 4 hours.
Police warn that Flores is to be considered armed and dangerous and urge anyone that sees him or has helpful information to call 911.
