BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Community members are invited to Bellingham City Hall today to remember homeless people who have died this year.
The Whatcom County Coalition to End Homelessness is sponsoring the memorial, which starts at 5 PM on the steps of City Hall.
The memorial is part of a movement by the National Health Care for the Homeless Council to encourage communities to hold homeless persons’ memorial days on or around the winter solstice.
