OLYMPIA, Wash. — Law enforcement will be out this week making sure drivers celebrate the New Year safe and sober.
The State Patrol says additional troopers are being brought in to supplement their patrols and will include troopers with special training to identify drug impaired drivers.
Washington is one of five states in the Western States Traffic Safety Coalition and they are working together to remove impaired drivers from the roadways.
