BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham’s campaign focused on eating local food is expanding.

According to the Bellingham Business Journal, Bellingham-based nonprofit Sustainable Connections is partnering with Seattle-based Tilth Alliance to expand their “Eat Local First” campaign to areas throughout the greater Puget Sound region.

The campaign focuses on promoting locally grown or produced goods through branding and education to ensure that farmers have a direct market for their products.
