The Western Viking men’s basketball team beat arch-rival Central Washington Thursday night 80-69 at Carver Gym. Trevor Jasinsky had 20 points in the win for the Vikings. Western is now 7-4 on the season and 2-1 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play. The Vikings next host Northwest Nazarene Saturday night at 7:00.
The Western women lost on the road to Western Oregon in double overtime 73-70.
