SEATTLE, Wash. — Prepare for a windy start to your weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind advisory covering San Juan County and western Whatcom and Skagit Counties in effect from 10 Friday through 10 Saturday morning.
They are forecasting 25-35 mile per hour winds with gusts up to 50 mph possible.
Winds could blow down trees and power lines, so widespread power outages are possible.
