KENDALL, Wash. — A woman believed to be in her 60’s died in a fire that destroyed an RV near Kendall Wednesday.
Crews from Whatcom County Fire District 14 responded at about 10 a.m. to reports of the fire in the 6100 block of the Mount Baker Highway.
Lieutenant Dave Moe says they quickly contained the fire.
He says a likely cause is a portable propane heater found in the RV.
The Medical Examiner is determining the woman’s identity.
