BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham man accused of killing his wife and her pets has been formally arrested for her murder.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s office says Kevin Heimsoth was formally charged January 10th.
He hasn’t been booked into the Whatcom County Jail as he’s still being treated for a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Harborview Medical Center.
The Bellingham Herald reports he’s listed in satisfactory condition.
Heimsoth is accused of shooting his wife, Sunnyland Elementary School Principal Lynn Heimsoth, and her pets to death at their Marine Drive home on December 26th.
