MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — A Burlington woman was injured Sunday morning when a Ferndale driver hit her on Highway 20.
Troopers say 31-year-old Phyllis Williams was standing partially in the westbound lane of the highway south of the Skagit Regional Airport a little after 7 a.m. when Brian Haling hit her in a Dodge Ram.
Williams was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Neither Haling nor his male passengers from Bellingham and Everson were injured.
The accident is under investigation.
