BOTHELL, Wash. — One Western Washington school district is closing because of concerns over the coronavirus.
Northshore School District Superintendent Michelle Reid has posted a notice that all of her district’s schools will be closed for two weeks beginning Thursday.
She says multiple people in the district that covers north Seattle suburbs are in self-quarantine because of possible exposure, and at least one school volunteer has had a positive test.
The district will transition to on-line instruction beginning Monday.
