BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The agency that collects blood donations in our community is sounding the alarm over supply.
Bloodworks Northwest says the supply is at risk of collapse in coming days because of a growing number of blood drive cancellations amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Executive Director for Blood Services Vicki Finson says the need is still there and growing.
She says giving blood is completely safe.
