BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Schools remain open but Superintendent Greg Baker says they’re making plans in case that changes.
He says schools are practicing social distancing, encouraging staff and students to stay home if they’re sick and following CDC guidelines on hygiene and cleanliness.
Baker says in an update that closing K-12 schools is more complicated than for colleges and universities, and remote teaching presents unique challenges.
