BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Viking Food is looking to help people whose employment is affected by the virus outbreak.

Following Governor Inslee’s emergency proclamation that shuts down restaurants for dine-in customers, there have been reports of layoffs in the industry due to decreased business.

The local food delivery service is hiring drivers, and they say they will give priority consideration to those impacted.

Viking Food is also offering a 5% discount on orders for the foreseeable future with the code “5OFF” as well as additional discounts for various restaurants.
