BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham Food Bank is suspending food donations and, more importantly, distribution at all of its locations.

In a Facebook post the food bank said it couldn’t continue to operate and adhere to the safety recommendations enacted throughout the state.

BFB says they’re looking for help from emergency responders to come up with a plan so they can safely distribute food while maintaining social distancing.

While they aren’t accepting food donations for at this time, they do ask people to continue vital monetary donations.
