BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Local governments across Whatcom County are working together to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in a new policy group.
Members of Whatcom Unified Command include Mayors of Lynden, Ferndale, Nooksack, Sumas, Blaine, and Bellingham along with tribal leaders and public officials.
A release from the group says they will together tackle issues like border crossings and economic impacts of the virus outbreak.
