WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Confirmed COVID-19 cases are sharply increasing in Whatcom County and in Washington state.
Health officials from the Whatcom County Health Department have confirmed 48 cases of the illness in the county.
That’s nearly five times the amount of confirmed cases reported on Friday.
The death toll in Whatcom County is still at 2.
Data updated 3/23/2020 from the state DOH says there are now over 2,000 cases in the state.
