BELLINGHAM, Wash. — An employee at Whatcom Community College has tested positive for COVID-19.
WCC says this is the first known case related to the college community and the employee is recovering at home in isolation.
The college confirmed that the employee works in the Health Professions Education Center and they say those who were in close contact with them will be contacted by the health department.
WCC will not be releasing the employee’s name in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
