OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Washington, Oregon, and California have created a coronavirus pact.

State officials announced they will be working together on a shared approach to re-opening their economies while continuing to control the spread of COVID-19.

On Monday, Governor Inslee announced the partnership with governors from California and Oregon and the written statement says while each state is building their own individual plan, the three states have agreed to a framework that focuses on them working together.

Democratic governors in the Northeast United States have a similar pact.
