MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — The Skagit Valley YMCA is offering free showers to the homeless community.
Communications Director Morgan Brin Moore told the Skagit Valley Herald the facility in Mount Vernon started offering the service to 10 people on Tuesday, and the program has room to expand.
She says showers are currently available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and they will also provide a bag lunch.
