OLYMPIA, Wash. — A man has been arrested for making threats to Governor Jay Inslee and his staff.

The Washington State Patrol arrested Shawn C. Rowland at his residence in Mill Creek shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 21.

Someone using a phone associated with Rowland reportedly left a threatening message on the Governor’s Office of Constituent Services voicemail.

The WSP investigation revealed the same phone had been used in an earlier threat made to the Virginia State Legislature in February.
