BURLINGTON, Wash. — Hexcel Corporation announced it will lay off workers in Burlington due to a drop in customer demand.
In the corporation’s filing with the Employment Security Department, Hexcel indicated it would lay off 128 workers beginning this week.
Staff from the local rapid response team and WorkSource will reach out to affected employees to ease the transition.
Hexcel announced a number of corporate-wide cost reduction actions when it released its first quarter 2020 results Monday.
