Health Department encouraging those with COVID-19 symptoms to get tested

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, it’s time to get tested.

The Whatcom County Health Department says testing capacity is growing locally and they are encouraging anyone with symptoms, like fever, cough, and shortness of breath, to contact their healthcare provider to ask about how to get tested for the illness.

The department says that those who do not have a regular healthcare provider can work with their insurance company to find one.
