WALLULA, Wash. (AP) — The Tyson meat plant near the Tri-Cities that shut down earlier this week due to COVID-19 infections among workers will remain closed for a while longer.

Tyson temporarily halted operations at the plant after 100 workers came down with the illness and they decided to have everyone at the facility tested.

County health officials are still awaiting test results on all the approximately 1400 workers.
