SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — Sedro-Woolley Police are reminding law breakers they may want to stay away from the police station if they want to avoid arrest.

The department says on its Facebook page two officers were making a shift change outside of the station next to their marked vehicles when a car approached.

One officer waved them to a stop, began chatting with the driver and noticed an open beer in the center console.

The man admitted to driving without a license and sipping the beer.

The car had expired plates and showed signs of possibly being stolen.

A female passenger admitted there were drugs in the car and the officers recovered suspected meth and packaged heroin from her and impounded the car pending a search warrant.
