WALLULA, Wash. (AP) — A Tyson beef plant in eastern Washington has reopened after closing for nearly 2 weeks.
The plant closed 12 days ago to test all workers for COVID-19 after more than 100 of them reportedly came down with the illness.
Tyson said Tuesday 12% of workers tested positive.
The Tri-City Herald reports there have been 147 positive test results out of over 1,200 returned so far, plus at least 100 workers diagnosed with COVID-19 before testing began.
