BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A 2020 event aimed at ending homelessness in Whatcom County has been cancelled.
Bellingham/Whatcom Project Homeless Connect events have been in action since 2009, providing the local homeless population one-day, one-stop access to health and human services.
Event organizers announced they are calling off the event scheduled for July 17 following Bellingham’s decision to cancel large events through August to slow the spread of COVID-19.
They are brainstorming next steps and they hope to offer Project Homeless Connect again in the near future.
