SEATTLE, Wash. – If you’ve just received a diagnosis of COVID-19 you could help in a treatment study.
UW Medicine researchers are launching a large-scale test of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin.
The drug combination has gotten media attention lately as a possible treatment.
Dr. Ann Collier is leading the study and says this will be the first rigorous study of the combination.
They’re looking for 2000 people who have just come down with the illness for the trial.
If you are an outpatient and been diagnosed with COVID-19 and want to help with the study, call or text 206-773-7129, or email actu@uw.edu.
