Day use areas are opening up in the North Cascades National Park.
The National Park Service is working with federal, state, and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and they are using a phased approach to increase park access.
Starting Friday May 29th, visitors can access the Diablo and Ross Lake Overlooks, trails, and boat ramps on Diablo Lake, Gorge Lake, and the Skagit River.
Campgrounds and visitor centers remain closed at this time.
