BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Tuesday Morning, a home décor and furniture store, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy May 27th, and announced plans to close over a third of their locations nationwide.
The Bellingham location in Sunset Square was not on a list of initial store closures published by Business Insider.
Tuesday Morning CEO Steve Becker said in a news release that the unexpected closures of stores in response to COVID-19 had severe consequences on the business.
He said before the pandemic, they were gaining momentum.
