SEATTLE, Wash. – Washingtonians did a good job physical distancing over Memorial Day weekend.
The Washington State DOT says ferry ridership was down more than 50% compared to previous years.
But they said it was still their busiest weekend since the governor’s stay-home order took effect.
Washington State Ferries will remain on winter schedules through June 20 with reduced service on some routes and, if needed, they will enforce reduced capacity to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
