VANCOUVER, B.C. — Students across the border are heading back to school.
In B.C’s plan to gradually open amid the coronavirus pandemic, K-12 students can return to school today (mon) on a part-time, voluntary basis under some new rules.
CBC reports schools had to submit health and safety plans to the province to reopen.
Schools must abide by the provincial health officer’s guidelines, which includes cleaning frequently-touched surfaces at least twice a day, and limiting items that cannot be easily cleaned, like fabric.
Everyone entering the school will be required to wash their hands.
