BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Silver Lake Park Campground will open Monday.
The opening of the popular Whatcom County park coincides with the county’s move into phase 2 of Washington’s “Safe Start” plan.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the playground, picnic shelters, and public showers will not be allowed.
Cabins have reduced availability and boat rentals will be on a reduced schedule.
Campers are encouraged to register for campsites in advance or self-register when arriving at the campground to reduce interactions with staff.
