BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Recreational shellfish harvesting is closed at all Whatcom County beaches after unsafe levels of Paralytic biotoxin have been found.
The Whatcom County Health Department says the closure includes all of Point Roberts and Larabee State Park.
Shellfish bought at retail outlets have been tested and are safe to eat.
