SEATTLE, Wash. –Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is responding to racist customer emails.
Bezos posted two screenshots of the emails on his Instagram.
One email, from someone named Dave, says he was shopping with Amazon when he saw their statement of support for the Black Lives Matter movement on their website, at which point he canceled his order.
Using explicit language, he said Amazon’s profits would decline as a result of its stance.
Macy had a similar message, responding with “All Lives Matter.”
Bezos replied to Macy reiterating his support for the movement.
Both posts received an overwhelming amount of comments.
