LYNDEN, Wash. – A light plane crashed while trying to land in Lynden Sunday.
Local pilot and aviation watcher Jeffrey Lustick says the new owner and a flight instructor were at the controls of the Cessna as it tried to land at Jansen Field.
Witnesses said the plane came in fast and was trying to go around for another landing attempt when it stalled and hit the ground.
Four people on board weren’t seriously hurt, but one was transported to St. Joseph Hospital.
