OLYMPIA, Wash. — New COVID-19 data tied to occupations and industries has been released.
The Washington State DOH released a report detailing total COVID-19 cases in the state, by occupation and industry, through May 27.
The report says the largest number of COVID-19 cases in Washington state is associated with health care workers.
It says the manufacturing industry, including food processing facilities, has the second highest number of cases.
The DOH says this report reflects where people work, not necessarily where or how they were infected.
