ACME, Wash. – The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is warning boaters and tubers of a new, impassable log jam on the South Fork of the Nooksack River.
The hazard is 2 3/4 river miles downstream from the Acme put-in.
Boaters must get out and walk around the log jam.
The Department of Natural Resources has posted a warning sign.
