OLYMPIA, Wash. — College students may be able to head back to campus soon.

Higher education institutions can resume in-person classroom instruction later this summer as long as they follow protocols to protect against COVID-19.

Governor Inslee issued guidance today (wed) giving universities, colleges, technical schools and apprenticeship programs options to consider as they prepare for students to return as early as August 1.

Each institution must make plans to meet standards for reopening that comply with federal, state and local health requirements.
