BELLEVUE, Wash. – Two dozen people have been arrested in Bellevue after stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise during civil unrest triggered by the death of George Floyd.
Bellevue’s Police Chief did not provide information about the suspects but said some have gang ties.
KOMO reports 100 additional arrests are expected to be made for a well-organized looting plan where $19,000 worth of clothing was taken.
The merchandise has since been recovered by police.
