OLYMPIA, Wash. — If you’re planning on taking a ferry this weekend, you may want to plan for extra time.
WSDOT says more than 100 ferry employees are unavailable due to being at high-risk for COVID-19 and that has posed to challenge to keep their vessels crewed.
This may cause some schedule reductions.
The department says the busiest sailings will likely be westbound today (Thursday), then eastbound Sunday, as people return home.
