BELLINGHAM, Wash. — For the second day in a row Tuesday evening, the state health department reported 8 new positive coronavirus tests for whatcom County.
No new deaths were reported.
Whatcom County is passing on 3 of 5 risk metrics on the state dashboard; and failing on the rate of newly diagnosed cases for the prior two weeks and on percent of hospital beds overall that are occupied.
The percent of hospital beds in use by COVID-19 patients fell to 0.8%.
