The Great Northwest Athletic Conference, of which Western Washington University if a member, has announced there will be no athletic competition through Nov. 30 due to the coronavirus. Spring sports were shut down in the middle of March at the start of the pandemic.
The GNAC says a decision on the status of competition after Nov. 30 is expected by the middle of October.
