BLAINE, Wash. — There are rumors of a protest in downtown Blaine.
The Blaine Police Department issued a release saying that they are aware of the rumors floating around on social media indicating that the police department along with the City of Blaine and the Sheriff’s Department have confirmed that a rally is planned.
They say that’s not true.
They don’t know if a protest will take place, but they support citizens’ rights to peacefully assemble and they will protect those rights if needed.
