WASHINGTON, D.C. — Some brands of frozen cooked shrimp have been recalled over concerns about salmonella contamination.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that the effected brands include Kirkland Signature from Costco.
Other brands include Aqua Star Reserve, Censea, Fresh Market, Tops, Unistar and Wellsley Farms.
The frozen cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp is sold in 1 pound, 1.5 pound and 2 pound bags.
Consumers who have purchased the product are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
