BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The final community listening session on race and justice is tonight.

The City of Bellingham, Whatcom County, Lummi Nation and Western Washington University have sponsored the sessions over the past several weeks.

Mayor Seth Fleetwood says they would especially like to hear from people of color, and County Executive Satpal Sidhu says the sessions are a “first step” in addressing injustice and racism in the community.

The session is on Zoom from 5 to 7pm and will also be broadcast on BTV and the city’s YouTube channel.
