BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Sedro-Woolley woman is in jail after she led officers on a chase from Ferndale to Bellingham.
Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Deb Slater reports deputies tried to pull the woman over in Ferndale at about 3 a.m. last Saturday for numerous traffic violations.
She drove off and the State Patrol took up the pursuit.
The woman led officers to Bellingham where a passenger got out at Cornwall Park and she sped off again.
Spike strips stopped the car at the Sunset I-5 on-ramp and officers arrested 31-year-old Rachelle Marie Gallo.
The person who got out of the car has a Felony Domestic Violence No-Contact Order in effect against Gallo.
